About the Paintings: The paintings for the gallery series are created using oil pastels on Fabriano or Arches 100% rag, fine art paper. The book illustrations from Garagista are oil paintings on linen.

About the Prints: These digital prints are authentic reproductions, signed and numbered. The finished oil pastel is scanned at high resolution then enhanced and developed into a digital painting by using a variety of artist's tools. Whether it is collage, composite or enhanced graphics, the final prints were taken beyond the limitations of the traditional technique of oil pastels, but still maintain the characteristic lush color and texture. The reproductions are on quality fine art heavy weight paper that compares to the Fabriano in surface quality.

About the Paper: Cold press texture, fourdrinier made fine art paper is acid free, natural white, 315gm2. Cold Press Art faithfully recreates the texture of fine art papers and is ideally suited for reproducing oil pastel. It is treated with Opti-coat, a precision matte coating, to assure superior DMAX, vivid detail and brilliant color. This paper is museum/conservation grade.
